Starting with some introductory paddling skills and a short paddle before setting up camp and eating your dinner off an open fire. After a refreshing sleep, you will start your trip along the River Erne to Belturbet. The trip will take you to areas only reachable by canoe. You will attempt to catch your dinner and learn bushcraft skills including sustainable fire lighting techniques, shelter building and navigation in this serene and tranquil environment. Paddling onto Crom Estate where you will set up camp for the second evening. With wild deer, Pine Marten and Irelands oldest Yew Trees, this National Trust Property is truly amazing. A walk around this vast estate is a must. The following morning you will paddle back to SHARE stopping on Insishrath to meet the Hare Krishna community and Tranish Island where a new bothy is being built.
