Copney Campsite

Copney Campsite was added to the Blackwater Canoe Trail in October 2013 (hence it does not appear on the waterproof trail guide.)

The campsite is only accessible from the water via canoe steps at GR H877589 - just down stream of Bond's Bridge. Located approxiamatley half way along the trail it is the perfect overnight stop off on a two day trip along the trail.

There is space for 10 small tents within a fenced off area - available on a first come first served basis.  Please do not camp outside this area as this is privately owned. 

There is also a composting toilet but no running water.

This campsite is leased and maintained by Dungannon & South Tyrone Borough Council
