While activity providers generally operate according to what is accepted as current best practice, it is the responsibility of the participant to ensure that the provider is credible and that all appropriate safety standards are adhered to. Outdoor Recreation Northern Ireland and the other funders neither have, nor assume any responsibility or liability for accuracy or completeness of the information supplied or the service and care afforded by any of the canoeing providers listed in this publication.
Canoe Association of Northern Ireland (CANI) recommends that you ensure your provider is working within the guidelines laid down by the British Canoe Union/CANI and is using suitably qualified staff.
