Lower Bann Canoe Trail

Stretching from Lough Neagh to the Atlantic Ocean, this 58km Canoe Trail provides a unique way to experience the beautiful River Bann. Passing through constantly changing scenery, the trail offers canoeists both tranquil waters and some faster flowing sections.

Increased Water Levels and Flow Rates

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and users of the Lower Bann Navigation to expect increased water levels and extremely strong currents and flow rates following recent heavy rainfall particularly when navigating in the vicinity of jetties, locks and bridges and to note that fixed structures such as jetties and slipways are likely to submerge.
